Licia Woods... il nuovo brand Italiano - a new Italian brand

Appena ho posato gli occhi su quella borsa, mi sono detta “questo capolavoro sarà di sicuro made in UK!” E invece quando la commessa di Tatters a Riccione mi ha detto che quella borsa era al 100% italiana, non potevo credere alle sue parole.

Insomma una borsa dal gusto vintage, romantica nei dettagli e a forma di fiocco, doveva per forza arrivare da Notting Hill e invece ero di fronte all’ennesima prova del buongusto italiano.

Il brand “Licia Woods” mi ha preso il cuore, tanto da chiedere alla creatrice il permesso di parlarne sul mio piccolo blog. Quando la proposta è stata accettata, mi sono messa subito al lavoro.

Ho scoperto che il design e la produzione del brand è tutto made in Italy. Il laboratorio si trova infatti a Cesena!

La forma a fiocco è forse il marchio di fabbrica di questo brand. Le borse hanno questa forma grazie ad un lembo centrale di stoffa che può essere rimosso. Sembra quasi di avere 2 borse in una. Sono versatili a seconda dei gusti di chi la porta.

La mia preferita? E’ la Big Bag in versione brown. Elegantissima per l’autunno alle porte! Super capiente  è perfetta per chi non può fare a meno di “portarsi dietro tutta la casa” o per chi si destreggia fra casa – ufficio - palestra e quant’altro.

Le clutch infine sono il fiore all’occhiello di casa”Woods”. Anch’esse ornate da un piccolo fiocco di duplice uso. Oltre a dare un tocco raffinato alla borsa, è anche un praticissimo passante che aiuta a portarla al meglio.

Insomma questo brand è la riprova che volontà e un pizzico di fantasia, possono creare dei pezzi unici. La moda italiana non tramonterà mai fin quando le idee si trasporteranno dalle menti alla stoffa e riusciranno a stupire chi come me adora il fashion.

When I saw that bag, I immediately tought “this bag must be made in UK!”, but when the employ of the Tatters Store in Riccione told me that that bag was totally made in Italy, I couldn’t trust her!

Well a bag with vintage and romantic details with a bow shape, had to be from Notting Hill. But I was wrong, I was in front of an Italian masterpiece!

The “Licia Woods” brand has stolen my heart, I was so impressed that I asked the designer her ok to speak about this brand on my little blog. When she allowed me, I immediately started the article.

So I discovered that everything, from the design to the production, is made in Italy. The lab is in Cesena!

The bow shape is perhaps the trade-mark of this brand. The bags have this shape because of a little piece of fabric in the centre of the product. But this fabric can be removed, so it seems to have 2 bags in one.

My favourite? It's the Big Bag in brow version. It’s super classy for fall! It is also super capacious. It’s perfect for women that need a lot of space and for who have to navigate one’s way trough home- office and jim.

Clutches are the cherry on top of “Licia Woods” brand. Here again we can see a little bow on the front. Again it has a double function: it’s an elegant detail and a good help to wear the bag.

Well, this brand is the proof that goodwill and fantasy can create a masterpiece. Italian fashion will never die, until ideas will have live trough the fabric. Until they will amaze people.
